Systems and architecture
- Develop and operate web applications with PHP, CodeIgniter, Node.js, LoopBack, Angular, TypeScript and MySQL.
- Translate business requirements into technical solutions across applications, APIs, data models, integrations and infrastructure.
- Design and maintain REST APIs and integrations with customers, providers and external services.
- Modernise legacy systems through refactoring, dockerisation and architectural improvements.
Delivery and cloud
- Review code and merge requests, define technical standards and provide hands-on guidance to the development team.
- Manage CI/CD pipelines, GitLab Runners, Docker, Nginx and deployments across development, staging and production.
- Operate AWS infrastructure: EC2, RDS, S3, SNS, SES and VPC networking.
- Design AI-agent-assisted workflows for planning, implementation, debugging and code review.
Reliability and operations
- Diagnose and resolve critical production incidents through code, logs, databases and infrastructure analysis.
- Automate recurring processes with Python, Bash and cron jobs.
- Coordinate technical delivery with Operations, Business, Support and external technology providers.
